Cylinder dogging (CD) replaces the hex key with a key cylinder. The technician turns the key to dog and undog the device. The fire-rated 9927-F does not support dogging of any kind. A fire exit hardware device must latch every time the door closes, without exception. If you have a -F suffix on your model number, do not attempt to add dogging hardware.
