The 4010T is commonly used in commercial and institutional applications where a standard exposed arm would create a clearance or aesthetic problem, or where the door is subject to regular parallel arm contact. The track arm system is more mechanically protected than an exposed parallel arm because the roller travels inside the rail rather than pivoting freely in space.

The 4010T is a completely separate product from the standard arm 4010. If the closer body at your installation has a slide rail mounted to the door with a roller running inside it, you have a 4010T. Replace when the arm tube is bent, the spindle connection is stripped and tightening does not hold, or the arm has separated from the roller during operation.

4010T-3077DE: Double Egress Track Arm

The 4010T-3077DE is the track arm for doors that swing in both directions. Double egress openings are common in healthcare corridor applications and in institutional settings where traffic approaches from both sides. The 3077DE must be paired with the 4010T-78DE main arm and tube and the 4010T-82 rod. Standard arm components do not work in a double egress configuration.

4010T-3054: Hold-Open Clip Only

The 4010T-3054 is the hold-open clip without a roller. It clips onto the existing roller to engage the hold-open notch in the 3038H or 3038HB track. Order the 3054 when the hold-open function has failed but the existing roller is still in good condition and does not need replacement. This is the lower-cost repair when the roller itself has not worn through.

4010T-3064H: Combined Hold-Open Clip and Roller

The 4010T-3064H replaces both the hold-open clip and the roller in a single assembly. Order the 3064H when the hold-open function has failed and the roller is also worn or damaged. On high-cycle doors where both components fail at similar rates, installing the 3064H as a single-part replacement is more efficient than sourcing the clip and roller separately.
