The Detex NXG-2Wire-Module is a control module that allows existing hardwired mechanical door activation switches to be upgraded to touchless activation while utilizing existing wiring infrastructure. Manufactured by Detex, the module is designed for use with the NXG-IR-A touchless activation system and eliminates the need to run additional wiring during retrofit applications. The module installs in the door header and accepts a 12 to 24 VAC/DC power input. When connected touchless switches are activated, the relay output changes state to activate the door control system.
