The Falcon AS76100 is the OEM Hana Knob and Gala Rose assembly with spring cage for the Falcon MA Series mortise lock, documented in the Falcon MA Series Parts Manual. The AS76100 is the complete outside knob trim assembly for the "HG" (Hana/Gala) combination across 23 MA Series functions and 2 dummy functions. Finish must be specified at time of order. Available in six finishes: 605 (Bright Brass), 606 (Satin Brass), 613 (Oil Rubbed Bronze), 625 (Bright Chrome), 626 (Satin Chrome), and 630/US32D (Matte Silver). Available (3-4 weeks).

Note: The 630/US32D finish is available on the Hana knob design only (and other selected designs) but is NOT available across all MA Series trim options. Confirm the finish against the specific design before ordering.

What the Falcon MA Series Is

Per the official Falcon MA Series Data Sheet (doc 106198): "The Falcon MA Series delivers the heavy-duty performance of a Grade 1 mortise lock at an affordable price for your office, hospital, education, or other commercial project. MA, as one of Falcon's toughest and most dependable locks, is designed to handle high-traffic, high-abuse applications."

ANSI/BHMA 156.13, Series 1000 certified. UL Listed for 3-hour A label fire door. Cylinders are secured by a dual retainer. Wrought knobs, wrought roses, and forged or wrought escutcheons are standard. The wrought construction (worked metal rather than cast) provides the strength needed for high-abuse applications. SFIC (Small Format Interchangeable Core) cylinders are available in 6-pin and 7-pin configurations, allowing immediate rekeying without disassembling the lock. The control key removes the core; no tools or lock removal required for rekeying.

Falcon AS76100: Hana Knob and Gala Rose Trim System

The MA Series uses a two-part trim designation system: a knob or lever design code combined with a rose design code. The AS76100 is the "HG" combination — Hana (H) knob with Gala (G) rose.

The Falcon MA Series trim catalog offers two rose styles: the Gala (G) rose and the Napa (N) escutcheon. The Gala is the round rose format; the Napa is a more elongated escutcheon format. The Hana knob is available with either rose style (HG or HN). The AS76100 specifically covers the HG format.

The MA Series also offers four lever designs: Avalon (A), Dane (D), Quantum (Q), and Sutro (S), each available with either Gala or Napa rose. When specifying an MA Series lock, the trim combination is appended to the function number. An MA521 with Hana knob and Gala rose is ordered as MA521HG. The AS76100 knob assembly is the field replacement or service component for any installed MA521HG, MA581HG, MA161HG, or any other HG-designated MA function.

Falcon Knob Assembly: Spring Cage and Wide Function Coverage

The AS76100 includes the spring cage with the knob and rose. The spring cage is the housing and spring mechanism that returns the knob to its rest position after being turned. Without it, the knob would stay in whatever rotated position it was last moved to. The spring cage is included in the AS76100 assembly rather than being a separate replacement item, making this a complete trim assembly for one service call.
