Falcon Door Hardware Parts
Falcon is Allegion's value-tier commercial line, built to deliver Grade 1 durability without the premium pricing of flagship brands. We stock parts for the 25 Series and 24 Series exit devices, the MA Series mortise lock, and the T Series cylindrical lock. Find your series below for diagrams and exact replacement components.
25 Series versus 24 Series exit devices
The 25 Series is the wide-stile exit device built for standard hollow metal or wood doors, while the 24 Series is the narrow-stile version sized for aluminum storefront doors. The two share the same internal mechanics, the 24 Series just has a smaller footprint to fit a narrower frame. Both are certified to ANSI A156.3 Grade 1 standards, UL listed for panic exit hardware, and available with A or B label fire ratings depending on configuration. Half-turn hex dogging comes standard on both, with cylinder dogging available where building policy requires a key to hold the device open rather than a mechanical half-turn.
Why facilities managers spec Falcon on high-traffic interior doors
Falcon fills a specific gap: Grade 1 performance that survives years of student or public abuse without flagship pricing. It's common to see a premium exit device on a building's main entrance and Falcon 25 Series on every classroom and interior stairwell door, since the door still needs to meet code and survive heavy daily cycling, but doesn't need the architectural finish options a front-of-house opening might call for.
MA Series mortise lock and T Series cylindrical lock
The MA Series mortise lock pairs with Falcon's exit devices on openings that need a mortise-based lock function rather than a rim or vertical rod configuration. Because Falcon shares the Allegion parent company with Schlage, the MA Series is built for keyway compatibility with Schlage cylinders, which matters if the building already runs a Schlage master key system and wants Falcon hardware on a budget without sourcing a second keyway. The T Series cylindrical lock follows the same logic for openings using a cross-bore cylindrical prep instead of a mortise pocket.
Finishes and mounting details
25 Series devices are available in finishes including US3, US4, US10, US26, US26D, US28, US32, US32D, and 313AN, with mounting height standardized at 40-1/4 inches from centerline to finished floor per ANSI A115.1 prep. All mounting screws are concealed on standard applications, with through-bolted sexbolts available where the door core requires it.
