The Detex VRA-143 Vertical Rod Assembly is a commercial two-point locking accessory manufactured by Detex for use with the Detex ECL-230D Exit Control Lock system. It provides top and bottom latching on outswinging double doors and may also be installed on single doors where two-point locking is required instead of the standard single-point latch provided by the exit control lock. The surface-mounted design eliminates the need for mortising, while the rods automatically retract when the ECL-230D is activated for authorized egress.
