The Detex ML-1548 is a Grade 1 electromagnetic lock designed for commercial security, access control, and life safety applications. It provides more than 1500 lbs. of holding force and features fail-safe operation that releases immediately when power is removed. The lock incorporates an all-steel magnetic core, automatic 12/24 VDC voltage sensing input, built-in spike protection, and a non-handed design. An interlocking slide mounting plate and peel-and-stick template simplify installation, while the maintenance-free construction eliminates moving parts that can wear or bind.
