The Detex ECL-600 by Detex Corporation is a fire-rated exit control lock designed to provide managed security for secondary fire exits while maintaining code-compliant emergency egress. It features a relatching deadbolt and deadlocking latchbolt, a durable steel push plate with a photoluminescent sign, and a 100 dB battery-powered alarm that activates during unauthorized exit attempts. The device is non-handed and accepts standard 5-pin through 7-pin rim cylinders. Designed for commercial wood, hollow metal, and aluminum doors, the ECL-600 is suitable for facilities requiring controlled emergency exits while meeting fire and life safety requirements.
