The Detex EAX-2500F is a flush-mounted hardwired exit alarm manufactured by Detex for securing emergency exits and restricted access doors. It is designed to fit a standard 4" × 4" double switch/outlet box and produces an approximately 100 dB alarm when an unauthorized exit is attempted. The unit supports AC/DC hardwired power with an optional 9VDC backup battery, includes a tamper-resistant housing, and features a patented cam assembly that automatically adjusts for different cylinder sizes without spacers.
