The Detex DS-24 Electric Strike is engineered by Detex for commercial access control applications utilizing Advantex and Value Series rim exit devices. Its non-mechanical design helps reduce maintenance while increasing operational life. The strike features a concealed infrared latch bolt sensor, plug-in modular wiring for simplified installation, and built-in electronics that automatically accept 11–28VDC input with surge and kickback protection. The field-reversible fail safe/fail secure configuration, six-pin anchoring system, and tested holding strength exceeding 1,500 pounds make it suitable for demanding commercial environments.
