The Detex BE-961-5 Battery Eliminator is a power conversion accessory that converts 12VAC to 9VDC for compatible Detex battery-operated security devices. It is designed to eliminate reliance on 9-volt batteries by providing continuous DC power to supported exit control locks and alarmed exit devices. The BE-961-5 does not include a transformer or conduit, which are sold separately. It is suitable for powering compatible ECL and EB devices while reducing routine battery replacement.
