Push 'N Go is the feature that automatically takes over when a pedestrian manually pushes the door to approximately five degrees of opening. The operator detects that initial push, activates, and takes the door through its full powered opening cycle - holding it open for 1 to 30 seconds depending on the configured time delay setting. After the hold-open period, the operator powers the door closed. The pedestrian does not need to push a wall button or activation pad. This feature makes the 9140 appropriate for ADA-accessible entrances where touchless or minimal-contact operation is required.

Power Boost applies additional motorized closing force when wind or pressure differentials try to hold the door open beyond its set close position. In exterior installations or doors adjacent to HVAC returns, stack pressure can prevent a standard closer from fully closing the door. Power Boost counteracts that pressure.

Both features cycle through the operator mechanism and arm continuously, which is why cover integrity - including the 9140-334 endcaps - matters for keeping debris out of the operator internals over the long service life of the unit.
