The Schlage 23458599 Exterior Shim Plate is a thin-door installation component for compatible Schlage AD Series and CO Series electronic locks. The number of exterior shim plates required according to door thickness: three (3) for 1-3/8-inch doors, two (2) for 1-1/2-inch doors, and one (1) for 1-5/8-inch doors. The shim is included in applicable door thickness kits and is also sold individually for replacement and installation requirements.
