The Detex 105396-6 Surface Mount Door Activation Post is a freestanding activation device manufactured by Detex for automatic door control applications. Designed for surface mounting with an external shoe, this post can be installed in locations where a standalone activation point is required. The 105396 Series is constructed from 5-inch square tubular steel with a 1/8-inch wall thickness and features a durable LongLife™ finish to help resist corrosion. An integral plastic cap helps support wireless signal performance, while the ABS plastic rust shield helps reduce the corrosive effects of concrete-to-steel contact. The post may be ordered for either hardwired or wireless operation.
