The Detex 105396-5 Surface Mount Switch Post is a freestanding door activation post designed to provide a self-contained mounting location for activation switches used with automatic door systems. Manufactured by Detex, the 105396-5 features a 5-inch square tubular steel construction with an external surface-mount shoe and two switch cutouts for activation device installation. The post can be ordered for either hardwired or wireless operation and includes an integral plastic cap designed to support superior wireless signal range. Its durable LongLife™ finish incorporates a zinc-rich base coat and industrial-grade powder coat finish for corrosion resistance.
