The Falcon 030654-000-626 is the OEM Emergency Release Cap for Falcon T Series cylindrical locks, documented in the official Falcon T Series Parts Manual. The part number suffix 626 identifies the Satin Chrome (US26D) finish. The 030654-000-626 is the Satin Chrome version of the Falcon T Series Emergency Release Cap, distinct from the 030654-000-625 (Bright Chrome) version.

Finish 626 Satin Chrome and the Emergency Release Cap Function

The emergency release cap sits over the emergency release opening on the outside trim of Falcon T Series cylindrical lock functions that incorporate an inside push button. When the inside button is engaged and the outside lever is locked, inserting a pin or small tool through the cap allows release of the inside button without a key. The cap protects the opening from dust and debris during normal use and maintains a finished appearance at the outside trim position.

The 626 (Satin Chrome / US26D) finish on the 030654-000-626 matches hardware installations where the outside trim has been specified in Satin Chrome. When the installed Falcon T Series outside trim is in a 626 finish, the 030654-000-626 is the correct emergency release cap to maintain finish consistency. For Bright Chrome (625) installations, the 030654-000-625 is the correct part. Confirm the finish of the installed hardware before ordering to ensure a matching replacement.
